Julian has a smile that will light up a room. I started working with him a little over six months ago and his progress is incredible! We started with walk-run intervals as we safely built his fitness and now regularly runs 25 miles a week with a perfect mix of easy endurance-building runs, speedwork, and long runs where he can knock out 8 miles. Last weekend he attacked the Warrior 5K and absolutely crushed his 26 minute goal with a chip time of 23:43.

Julian is the perfect example of an athlete who follows directions because he trusts the process. We push hard on hard days and keep the pace easy on easy days. He has already learned that becoming a runner can change your life, and he has his eyes set on conquering the marathon and qualifying for Boston. Will he get there? Absolutely. It’s going to take patience and a lot of work… and a TON of fun.

Julian, it’s an absolute honor to be your coach. Let’s get after the next goal on your list!
